Restore Your Citizenship. Reconnect With Your Heritage
Thousands of families lost their citizenship during the persecutions of the 1930s and 1940s. Today, descendants have the legal right to reclaim what was once taken.

Citizen Restore helps individuals around the world apply for German or Austrian citizenship under Germany’s Article 116 and Austria’s Section 58c.
Citizenship Restore is a heritage preservation initiative dedicated to assisting descendants of Nazi-persecuted Austrian and German citizens in reclaiming their nationality. The project preserves historical records, facilitates document research, and shares findings as open-access resources to honour victims’ memory. Our mission blends historical justice with practical support, empowering families worldwide to reconnect with their heritage. In the next 3 years, our goal is to assist hundreds of families, building an educational, freely available digital archive that contributes to public understanding of Nazi persecution and its legacy.
We provide expert, remote guidance — from eligibility checks to application support and heritage restoration.
A little more about us
Citizenship Restore is a project that is both deeply personal to me and urgently needed.
I was born in South America, the granddaughter of German and Austrian citizens who were stripped of their nationalities.
Decades later, I successfully fought to restore both nationalities for myself. While this process was life-changing, it also highlighted a painful truth: thousands of descendants of Nazi-persecuted citizens remain unaware of their rights or struggle to navigate the restoration process alone.

This experience led me to found Citizenship Restore, an initiative based in Europe. Our mission is to help these families reclaim what is rightfully theirs—their citizenship, their heritage, and a tangible piece of justice.

Our approach is clear:

-
Document recovery from global archives
-
Application guidance for eligible descendants
-
Follow up until process is completed and heritage restored
-
Advocacy and awareness in communities across South America, Israel, the USA, UK and other parts of Europe

We’ve done it. Now we help you do it.
