At Citizenship Restore, our services are designed around evidence, clarity and accessibility. We help descendants research family histories connected to Nazi persecution, identify potentially relevant citizenship-restoration routes, locate historical records and organize documentation for the next stage of an application.
Support can include an initial family-history review, document and archive planning, research in available repositories, a structured evidence timeline, a document checklist and practical guidance on preparing materials for submission. Where records are missing, we explain alternative sources that may help corroborate the same fact.
We do not promise outcomes. Citizenship rules depend on the specific facts of each family, and competent authorities decide whether statutory requirements are met. Our goal is to help families approach the process with better documentation, realistic expectations and a clearer understanding of what still needs to be proven.

As a nonprofit association, Citizenship Restore prioritizes public-interest and subsidized support. We also offer optional fee-based research and administrative services to families who want more extensive assistance and are able to pay for it.
Revenue from those services is reinvested in the mission: producing free educational materials, maintaining research resources, supporting archival work and helping fund assistance for families with limited financial means. Paid services do not purchase a citizenship outcome and do not affect decisions made by German or Austrian authorities.
Before any paid work begins, the scope should be clear: what research is being requested, what documents are being sought, what deliverables are expected and what is outside the service. This transparency helps families choose the level of support that fits their needs.
